SuperheroHype.com reports that Guy Ritchie has put together a short list of actors he is considering for the villainous role of Prof. Moriarty in SHERLOCK HOLMES 2. His top choice is Oscar-winner Daniel Day-Lewis. The other names on the list are Sean Penn, Javier Bardem and Gary Oldman. Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law have already signed on to reprise their roles as Holmes and Watson, respectively. Warner Bros. has set December 16, 2011 for the release for the sequel.
