The Rhode Island School Of Design is looking for an Assistant Professor for its Film/Animation/Video Department. This is a full time faculty positionbeginning September 2000. Applicants should be able to teach a variety ofanimation techniques, be familiar with new technologies and conversant withlive-action filmmaking; be able to teach effectively, creatively, andmeaningfully at all levels of animation production; have a good sense ofstory development; have a history of personal work, exhibition, andexperimentation in animation, along with college teaching experience. AMaster of Fine Arts degree or the equivalent in personal artwork orprofessional experience is required. Applicants should be familiar withproduction in film, digital media, video, and audio.
