Ren & Stimpy Returns to Spike, Immigrants Postponed

Spike TV will bring back REN & STIMPY ADULT PARTY CARTOON on Aug. 20, 2004, but fans will have to wait for later in the year to catch new episodes. In other Spike TV animation news, THE IMMIGRANTS, produced by Klasky-Csupo, was originally set to begin airing on Aug. 12, but has been pushed to November. The new series focuses on Russian immigrant Vladislav and his Hungarian roommate Joska who reside at the Vista Del Mar Apartments in Hollywood, California. Vlad, the eternal optimist, believes that to realize the American Dream one must simply work hard. Joska also believes in the American Dream, but the part that says if you can just come up with a new original idea, you can skip the hard work and patience part and zoom right to the top. Hank Azaria and Eric McCormack voice the characters of Vlad and Joska respectively.
