REALVIZ to Showcase HDR Imaging Studio & Movimento at SIGGRAPH 2007

REALVIZ will be showcasing its latest technological advancements at SIGGRAPH 2007 in San Diego (booth 1629) from Aug. 7-9.

The REALVIZ team will demonstrate the REALVIZ HDR Imaging Studio, unveiled in June, and REALVIZ Movimento, a state-of-the-art video-based motion-capture solution, which debuted at SIGGRAPH 2006.

The REALVIZ HDR Imaging Studio, combines Stitcher 5.6, VTour 1.2 HDR and Photomatix Pro, and is the only software bundle available today for the creation of HDR environments for virtual reality, industrial design, vfx and videogame applications, starting from digital snapshots and panoramas. With Stitcher 5.6, users can build HDR panoramas and directly export them as environment maps in their favorite 3D package. VTour 1.2 HDR now also enables digital content creators, for the first time ever, to add depth information to their HDR environment maps for Spatial Image-Based Lighting (SIBL). The REALVIZ HDR Imaging Studio is available in English for Windows.

REALVIZ Movimento is a video-based motion-capture solution, "Powered by SMART," REALVIZ' powerful automatic 3D tracking engine. Movimento offers the unique capability to capture the motion of any non-rigid object (humans, animals) in post-production, from synchronized image sequences with total flexibility. Starting from two cameras to as many as required, either fixed or moving and at different frame rates and definitions, REALVIZ Movimento expands the boundaries of the traditional motion capture studio by offering users the ability to take the motion capture process beyond the studio to where the action is. Movimento offers a complete and flexible solution for facial, hand, arm and full-body motion capture across a wide range of applications, from vfx, games, animation, biomechanical research, sports science, orthopedics and engineering, to behavioral analysis.

Since its launch Movimento has been firmly embraced by leading motion-capture specialists and production houses worldwide, including: Framestore CFC (London), Activision Inc. (U.S.), WideScreen Games (France), Glassworks (London) and FilmAkademie Stuttgart (Germany), among others.
