Realviz Announces Upgrades To Matchmover & ImageModeler

REALVIZ has announced upgrades to ImageModeler and MatchMover. The new ImageModeler will be the first to be Mac compatible. ImageModeler 3.0 feature highlights include a newly designed user interface and contextual menus allowing for improved calibration workflow and easier camera navigation. ImageModeler is compatible with all major 3D animation packages, including Maya, Lightwave 3D, Softimage, 3D Studio Max, and Cinema 4D. MatchMover enables animation and special effects professionals to create seamless image sequences integrating live-action footage with computer-generated 2D and 3D elements. "Our tools are developed by artists, for artists, and MatchMover caters to the complex needs of visual effects artists challenged with building CG set extensions and inserting CG objects into live footage," explained Emmanuel Javal, president, REALVIZ Corp. "MatchMover already provides extremely accurate results with the ability to track any type of image sequence, and soon will offer users the option of getting those results automatically." In addition, REALVIZ has announced that both new versions will support Kaydara FBX format, which will give users with efficient access to 3D camera data and image-based models. ImageModeler's selling price will be released at a later date, while MatchMover is priced at US $5,000.
