Realizm 800 Chosen for Celsius R630 Workstations

3Dlabs Inc. announced that the Wildcat Realizm 800 professional graphics accelerator has been selected by Fujitsu Siemens Computers for its Celsius R630 high-end workstations. Harnessing the power of two onboard Visual Processing Units (VPUs), the Wildcat Realizm 800 is a performance leader.

3Dlabs continues to be chosen by top workstation graphics OEMs, whose customers have an insatiable need for industry-leading power and performance, said Hock Leow, president of 3Dlabs. The power of the 3Dlabs Wildcat Realizm 800 enables Fujitsu Siemens Computers Celsius R630 workstations to run incredibly demanding dual 9.3 megapixel displays in Multiview mode with ease.

Our CAD, simulation, visualization and virtual reality customers are asking us to deliver high-end graphics solutions for the Celsius workstations, which support up to two high resolution displays. Celsius R630 provides our customers with the Wildcat Realizm 800 graphics accelerator and its Multiview Option card, which run dual displays impeccably, added Andreas Thimmel, vp of business clients at Fujitsu Siemens Computers.
