Stereoscopic technology specialist RealD has seen a trio of exec departures, according to a report by Variety, including COO and general counsel Craig Gatarz and senior VPs Rick Heineman and Jed Harmsen.

“Craig and Rick have been valuable members of the RealD executive team,” said CEO Michael Lewis. We are appreciative of their many contributions and we wish them the best of luck in their new endeavors.”

Lewis also said of Gatarz: “Craig’s true passion is for early stage companies so we are supportive of his desire to return to these roots.”

Heineman was the senior VP of marketing and communications. Harmsen held the post of senior VP of business and product development.

Lewis disclosed last month that the company had initiated expansion efforts on high-growth markets and executed a cost reduction plan which reduced operating expenses and capital expenditures.

For its four quarter ended June 30, revenue was down 11 percent to $40.6 million, comprised of license revenue of $28.6 million and product and other revenue of $12 million.
