Orlando-based Raven Moon Entertainment Inc. announced today (April 18, 2005) that it is launching a new animation division targeted toward servicing and generating revenues from the entertainment, advertising and creative content producers market.
Sales for the Raven Moon Animation division will be handled by industry veterans Janice Hamlin (276-632-1772) located on the east coast and Chris Devine Dailey (310-374-1081) located in Los Angeles.
"Because the cost of living in Florida is a lot less, we can attract talented animators at a lower cost which will enable us to challenge the biggest and the best companies for a piece of the animation revenue pie, said Joey DiFrancesco, Raven Moon's ceo. Without a doubt we can offer movie studios and production companies in Los Angeles and New York the highest quality animation at a significant discount."
DiFrancesco claims his studio is positioned to produce 3D "Pixar style" animation services similar to those used in TOY STORY, SHREK and THE INCREDIBLES.
In addition we plan to produce our own animated theatrical feature films like THE DINO BUGS MOVIE, THE GINA D & THE TRANSISTOR SISTERS MOVIE, THE MR. BICYCLE MAN MOVIE and THE BOBO BLOCKS MOVIE, he said.
In other news, Raven Moon's animation division has launched the new GINA D'S KIDS CLUB website www.ginadskidsclub.com
The new site features music, games and a video from the GINA D'S KIDS CLUB program that was created by Emmy Award-winning exec producers Joey & Bernadette DiFrancesco, and stars Gina D and all of her fun loving kids club friends, including TV TED, Simon Wannabe, Pierre d' Artist, Mr. Pockets, Miss Muffin, Hammy, Birdy, Fishy, the Cuddle Bugs, The Transistor Sisters and the BOBO Blocks.
The website was designed and executed by a team of website designers and animators under the supervision of creative director Mike Gibilisco.
