Bob Nelson

Press Release from QuietMan

QuietMan is pleased to announce the hiring of Bob Nelson as their newest Executive Producer. Nelson, who will work alongside Partner/EP Carey Gattyan, is a talent-driven leader with more than 25 years as a director of broadcast production for top agencies, including DDB NY, Lowe, and TBWA. In 2009 Nelson moved to the production side of the industry, becoming president and partner at Eyeball. In 2010 he was elected to the Board of Directors of the AICP Digital Chapter. Nelson's creative, production, and leadership skills will make him the perfect liaison between QuietMan's talent and their diverse client base - be it agency, production company, editorial studio, or advertising brand.

As an agency production head, Bob always chose to remain close to his craft and the production community, producing many of his own projects. "I worked with Johnnie and Carey many times while I was on the agency side. Because of those experiences, I know that these are people I'll enjoy partnering with every day. Johnnie's portfolio is without equal. His work has always stood out, year after year, at Cannes, the AICP Show and on the Super Bowl. I love the team of artists here, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it."

"Bob is a great addition to the QuietMan family," noted Partner/EP Carey Gattyan. "With our recent re-brand and steady growth over the last year, having another EP with Bob's agency, production and post experience will greatly help us accommodate our increasing workflow."

Nelson brings an impressive client list with him to QuietMan, including Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi, Sprite, Heineken, Mercedes-Benz, Subaru, Hertz, Lipton, Cotton, Philips Electronics, Anheuser-Busch, Evian, Club Med, Volkswagen, and Porsche. He has earned six Cannes Lions, multiple ANDY and Clio Awards, honors at the AICP Show, and inclusion in the Museum of Modern Art's film archive.

During Nelson's tenure at Eyeball, the company grew billings 100 percent over the prior year, a feat that included new agency relationships and a new association with Amazon for direct-to-client advertising. As a member of the Digital Board of Directors of AICP, he is participating in drafting the industry's first Digital Standards and Practices Guidelines.

About QuietMan:The brainchild of CD and Founder Johnnie Semerad and long-time collaborator EP Carey Gattyan, QuietMan is a high-end creative collective set in an innovative workshop atmosphere that fuels projects from concept to completion. A recently overhauled production department includes fully developed print, web and TV arms capable of producing multifaceted advertising campaigns with a specialty in high-quality, groundbreaking VFX.
