qubo Unveils New Schedule and Expanded Web Offerings

Children's TV and online entertainment service qubo announced today that it will broaden its programming lineup next month and will unveil robust new content on qubo.com to further promote literacy, positive values and the possibilities of a child's imagination.

Beginning Monday, Dec. 3, the qubo Channel debuts a revised schedule that includes a new animated series, MISS B.G. (short for Big Girl), that follows a precocious eight-year-old girl who sees it as her mission to teach her younger brother George the ways of the world. Based on the acclaimed French book series GUDULE & LES BÉBÉS by Fanny Joly, MISS B.G. takes a heartfelt and comical approach in sharing lessons about the importance of family, learning and fun. Also beginning Dec. 3, viewers will now be able to see BABAR and JACOB TWO-TWO every day of the week, while POSTMAN PAT joins the qubo Channel's weekday line-up.

qubo.com is also ramping up with several new interactive applications. Beginning Friday, Nov. 30, qubo.com will debut ZIMMER TWINS, where children can create animated mini-movies and have the opportunity to have their short films showcased on the qubo Channel and the qubo weekend blocks on NBC, ION and Telemundo. The qubo Channel will also expand its online presence as qubo.com launches new content for each series on the digital channel. qubo.com will feature individual show pages with video clips, games and activities, all designed to engage children in a safe environment that fosters learning.
