Nexus Productions' Johnny Kelly has won another award for his film PROCRASTINATION.
At this year's Palm Springs International ShortFest, PROCRASTINATION was awarded the Best Student Animated Short. Kelly also won Best British Animated Short at the London Short Film Festival.
PROCRASTINATION was the result of the struggles Kelly had after being asked to produce a film on a topic of his choice and given a year to do it. Using mixed-media, this amusing film explores ways in which we put things off by partaking in mundane and pointless tasks and yet somehow feeling extremely busy doing them.
Other awards include Best British Animated Short at the London Short Film Festival and the Jerwood Moving Image Award. Kelly was also selected for the Saatchi & Saatchi Young Directors Showcase at Cannes this year.
