Prism Awarded On-Air Continuity Commission for Tiny Living

Prism Entertainment, a leading childrens and youth media entertainment company in the U.K., has been commissioned by LIVINGtv to create and produce its new on-air branded continuity for pre-school edutainment zone Tiny Living, which airs between 7:00 - 9:00 am weekdays and 7:00 - 10:00 am weekends, starting from Sept. 2004.

Commissioned by Hannah Barnes, deputy controller LIVINGtv & Ftn, the new environment will reflect Tiny Livings reputation as the home of quality, interactive entertainment for young viewers. Prisms creative team includes Amelia Johnson and Myke Crosby as exec producers and Madeleine Young as producer/director.

Matt Lyons and Abbey Surgeon and their loveable and funny playmate, Dog (puppeteered by Andrew Spooner) will host the branded morning block. Prism has created a cosy, warm and funny home where daft Dog and his friends spend the morning show, sharing their favorite programs with the children.

This year, the presenters will be closer than ever to the viewers as they invite them to come and visit Dogs house or send in their own video joke. Children can spend the morning with them and see all their friends coming to visit; Barney, the Busy Buses, Mo and Max and Oswald to name but a few.

Dog and his friends have a brand new selection of interactive activities for the young viewers to join in and play. From making things to scouring the undergrowth for animals, children will learn as they play.

Tiny Living provides parents and carers with a safe and trusted environment for their under fives and we are delighted to create and produce this new, fun brand to complement the channels pre-school programming package, said Johnson, joint managing director at Prism Ent.
