Prelooker Seeks Ibero-American Business For mOcean

Creative solutions company mOcean is expanding its business outreach to the worldwide marketplace by naming Javier Prelooker director of new business development, international markets. Prelooker will focus on bringing the Venice, California-based studio's entertainment marketing services across all media to the Ibero-American marketplace. Kevin Aratari, managing director of mOcean, said, "The international Hispanic market has grown and matured enormously in recent years. After completing two major re-branding initiatives in these territories, we feel the time is right to make an even greater effort to reach out to this market." Previously Prelooker had been vp of client services for Los Angeles-based Oxide-Global, a worldwide branding, production and broadcast marketing firm. He had also headed up Latin America account services for Pittard Sullivan, where he helped to create an awareness of award-winning design services within the Hispanic community, both domestically and abroad. Among the many Pittard Sullivan accounts he serviced were Antena 3 (Spain); Telefonica (Spain);TVI (Portugal); Canal A (Peru); KWHY-22 (Los Angeles) and Antena Latina (Dominican Republic). Prelooker, a native of Argentina, also was a account supervisor in the Hispanic Division of Grey Advertising, FOVA West, where he supervised and implemented a number of advertising and marketing plans for clients and supervised all aspects of pre-production, production and postproduction in the U.S., Mexico and Spain. mOcean's recent clients/projects have included 8 MILE, PHONE BOOTH, DARKNESS FALLS, SONY, HBO, MTV, USA Networks, Fox Movie Channel, National Geographic Channel, The Food Network, and Lexus.
