Stan Lees POW! (Purveyors of Wonder) Entertainment and Vidiator Technology (U.S.) Inc., a leading mobile multimedia solutions provider of mobile streaming and delivery of 3D rich-media applications, have team to develop and license exclusive live-action animated content for mobile devices using Vidiator's realtime streaming solution. The alliance will help shape the emerging business of content distribution and M-commerce on wireless platforms. Vidiator will have an exclusive relationship with POW! Mobile for the creation and distribution of wireless content.
The first phase of work will involve global wireless distribution of Stan Lee's THE DRIFTER and THE ACCUSER comic episodes. Near term products will be jointly developed, 3D avatar-based products, including STRIPPERELLA Avatar Products, Stan Lee Avatar Products and new episodes of THE DRIFTER, THE ACCUSER and STRIPPERELLA. Future development will also include mobile entertainment based on POW!'s INVASION FROM SPACE, which was developed in partnership with Artificial Mind and Movement. The second phase of work will involve in merchandising and manufacturing opportunities through an affiliate of Vidiator to establish and monetize Stan's global brand.
The alliance will feature the use of VeeStream, Vidiator's leading edge carrier-grade mobile streaming technology and Vee3D, Vidiator's interactive, live-action, 3D avatars messaging platform. The agreement also calls for the extension of sequels for existing Stan Lee intellectual property and the creation of new mobile applications and content. Stan Lee, POW! and Vidiator will co-develop an exclusive collection of wireless content for distribution to wireless operators around the world. One or more mobile channels will be created under the banner name Stan Lee's POW! Mobile.
