Curious Labs, Inc. has announced that their Poser and Poser Pro Pack will be supported within the Cinema 4D and PiXELS 3D applications. The Cinema 4D plug-in will be available for download at no charge to Pro Pack customers from the Curious Labs Website and will enable Pro Pack users to integrate and render their animated Poser scenes directly in Cinema 4D. The PiXELS 3D plug-in will offer similar functionality. Distribution details will be announced once they have been formalized. Currently, Poser and Pro Pack are integrated with other 3D tools including NewTek's LightWave, Discreet's 3ds max and e-on Software's Vue d'Esprit version 4. "We understand that artists and designers rely upon a variety of 3D tools to create their projects," said Steve Cooper, president and co-founder of Curious Labs. "With the latest Poser scene hosting support within Pixel's PiXELS 3D, and MAXON's Cinema 4D, users of these great products will have the freedom to incorporate Poser and Pro Pack character content into their existing production workflow to achieve best-of-breed 3D character animation." Poser costs US$219 and Pro Pack is available for US$149.
