Porchlight Ent. Promotes Shea Fontana To Vice President, Children's Programming

Los Angeles -- April 13, 2009 -- Shea Fontana has been upped to Vice President, Children's Programming, it was announced today by Bruce Johnson, company President & CEO. In this new position, her responsibilities will expand to include the development, production and acquisition of all genres of children's programming for PorchLight Entertainment.

"Shea has made a great contribution to our team," said Johnson. "She has demonstrated exceptional ability as a creative executive and is now responsible for selling our new programs to networks both here and overseas."

Fontana joined PorchLight in 2006. She quickly moved into animation production, working on its slate of animated programming including THE SECRET SATURDAYS (Cartoon Network), ANIMALIA (PBS and BBC), TUTENTSTEIN (Discovery Kids) and LeapFrog's A TAD OF CHRISTMAS CHEER (PorchLight Home Entertainment). Most recently, as Manager, Children's Programming, she has been overseeing the development of PorchLight's preschool and tween series.
