Plympton NYC Book Party Blowout Set for Tomorrow

Noted indie-animator to host book launch party May 18 as well as screenings May 27-28 in New York.

From a Bill Plympton press release.

Hey Scribble Junketeers,

I forgot to let you know - I'm having a big, blowout book party at the School of Visual Arts in NYC this Wednesday, May 18, 6-9 pm.  The address is 209 East 23rd St. in the 3rd Floor Amphitheater.

I'll be showing some of my newest films and projects, plus talking about my new Rizzoli book "Independently Animated, Bill Plympton" and showing some slides and artwork.

Then, David Levy, the co-writer of the magnificent book, will talk about the process.

And the best part is, it's FREE!

A number of critics have called it the best art book of the year.  So, tell all your friends to come to SVA on Wednesday night!

Another great event is a big series of screenings and parties I'm having at the prestigious Museum of the Moving Image, May 27 and 28, in Astoria, Queens.

I'll be there at all of the shows - so please come by and say hello, and see my film "Idiots and Angels" and "Adventures in Plymptoons" by the talented Alexia Anastasio.
