Planetpals, the adorable crew of "Earth Friends," who originated a decade ago at the popular Earthzone Website, will make their way to International Licensing Show 2008 in New York, after a successful debut at Asia Licensing in Tokyo and Brand Licensing in London.
Planetpals encourage kids to "be healthy inside and out" with themes that include a clean and happy Earth as well as the value of a healthy body. With whimsical sayings such as "It's in to use the bin", "make everyday Earth Day" and "It's cool to be green at school" they invite kids to learn.
The Planetpals theme song "You can be a Planetpal, too," like all of its unique content, teaches kids that by doing their part they can be a Planetpal at heart.
Planetpals characters have inspired and enlightened kids and families with their delightful slogans, fun facts and activities at home and in schools. Each character has a specialty and comes with its own clever educational rhyme and song. Along with the original nine characters, Planetpals will debut its new characters.
According to creator Judith Gorgone, "Planetpals is the only character set of its kind with such a large following reaching the preschool and elementary school market. Planetpals has been instrumental in inspiring a generation of responsible adults and looks forward to doing the same in the future. With 49 million kids under the age of 11 in the U.S. alone Planetpals can make a big difference for tomorrow's world."
Among Planetpals new license deals is "Planetpals World" a line of ecofriendly-themed toys manufactured by CEACO GAMERIGHT that debuted in New York at the Toy Fair in February.
