The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade has announced its lineup, which includes 12 new elements including eight floats, three giant helium character balloons and a set of Macy's newest invention -- the Balloonicle, a balloon and self-propelled vehicle. From classic characters to timeless toys, the 78th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will arrive in New York City on Nov. 25, 2004 at 9:00 am.

This year’s balloons will be characters such as Disney’s Chicken Little, Red and Yellow M&M, SpongeBob SquarePants and The Weebles. Floats will include: Barbie as The Princess & The Pauper, the new Holiday Beat falloon (a Macy's Parade invention, a combination cold-air balloon and float) sponsored by Universal Orlando, the Krazy Kritters sponsored by Dixie Georgia-Pacific, the Magic of Childhood Float sponsored by Fisher-Price, 123 Sesame Street, NFL Classic, Tutenstein and Voyage to Adventure sponsored by Royal Caribbean International.
