Knott's Berry Farm Kicks-Off Cartoon Network Get Animated Tour

BUENA PARK, Calif. -- Knott's Berry Farm and Cartoon Network are partnering to bring the network's national "Get Animated" tour to the theme park, Sunday, May 24. The 40-city tour, now in its fifth year is designed to motivate, energize and educate kids ages 6-14 about healthy living choices by using the power of Cartoon Network's shows and characters.

At the "Get Animated" Tour, kids will have the opportunity to engage in physical activities that promote the message of staying active and making smart nutritional choices. Activities will include a climbing wall, soccer challenge, bicycle race, filming station capturing games created by kids using a red rubber playground ball, interactive HOPSport program and basketball drills. All activities will be themed around Cartoon Network's line-up of shows including BEN 10; ALIEN FORCE, CHOWDER, THE MARVELOUS MISADVENTURES OF FLAPJACK, THE SECRET SATURDAYS and TOTAL DRAMA ACTION.

"Knott's Berry Farm has always been a place where families could have an active and enjoyable day together, this program provides yet another opportunity for education and fun."

The "Get Animated" activity area will be open from 12 noon to 6 pm and will be located inside Knott's Berry Farm and included with regular admission.
