Darren Aronofsky is set to direct Brad Pitt in an adaptation of John Vaillant's true-life book, THE TIGER, reports VARIETY. Guillermo Arriaga (21 GRAMS) will write the script for Focus Features, Pitt's Plan B and Aronofsky's Protozoa Pictures.
Set in the Siberian plain, a tiger begins to hunt and wipe out the humans. A warden sets out to stop the beast.
Aronofsky and Pitt will produce with Protozoa's Mark Heyman, Ari Handel and Plan B's Jeremy Kleiner and Dede Gardner.
