PPC Enterprises has revealed that phenomenally successful porcine pair Pinky and Perky are due to appear in their very own CD Rom game from Avanquest -- one of the biggest publishers of computer games in the UK.
THE PINKY AND PERKY SHOW has proved to be a huge smash hit since debuting on CBBC in November 2008. Ratings were so high that the show had a rapid transition onto BBC1 and the first series is now available on DVD, with repeats stripped across the BBC this spring/summer. The show is set to air on France 3 and ABC in Australia later this year, with sales also confirmed in the Nordics.
The pair have proved to be just as much of a hit in licensing terms -- licensing agent PPCE has already signed up Martin Yaffe to produce a wide range of superb Pinky and Perky toys that are set to hit the market in autumn/winter 2009 -- these include a Pinky and Perky megaphone, Pinky and Perky walkie-talkie headsets, a sing-a-long microphone, joke sets, inflatable chairs, and a remote controlled car.
Pinky and Perky are also set to tread the boards in a new stage show, courtesy of children's theatre company Fiery Light, the team behind the hugely successful LAZY TOWN LIVE! show.
