PGS Secures Rights to 'Alpha & Omega' TV Movie Franchise

PGS Entertainment secures broadcast licensing rights to new Alpha & Omega TV movie franchise from Crest Animation.

Paris -- International brand management company PGS Entertainment has reached an agreement with Crest Animation Productions to represent the international broadcast rights (outside of the US, Canada and the UK) of four brand-new movies based on the hit Lionsgate film release Alpha and Omega. Each of the 44-minute TV movies will be timed for seasonal release, including Alpha and Omega: The Great Wolf Games timed to celebrate the upcoming Winter Olympic Games.

The Alpha and Omega movie series features a family of wolves, led by an “alpha” mother wolf and the “omega” father wolf, who are followed by their three frisky wolf pups. Each, all-new animated movie is timed for seasonal placement, including:

  • Alpha and Omega: The Great Wolf Games (Winter Olympics)
  • Alpha and Omega: The Legend of the Saw-Toothed Cave (Halloween 2014)
  • Alpha and Omega: A Howl-iday Adventure (Christmas)
  • Alpha and Omega: Family Vacation (Spring 2015)

“We are very pleased to introduce international broadcasters to this wonderful, family-friendly, animated film franchise,” said PGS president Guillaume Soutter in making the announcement. “Broadcasters are always on the lookout for high-quality family faire timed for the various holidays throughout the year and the Alpha and Omega movies deliver just what they are looking for.”
