‘Peter Rabbit’ Wins at Cynopsis Kids !magination Awards

Emmy-winning series animated by Ireland’s Brown Bag Films recognized for “remarkable transformation” from children’s literary work to TV.

NEW YORK & LONDON -- International TV production and licensing company Silvergate Media has announced that Peter Rabbit, its Emmy-winning 3D-animated TV series for preschoolers, has won an !magination Award.

Peter Rabbit won an award for best TV Series Based on Books at the Cynopsis 5th Annual Kids !magination Awards. The award recognizes the translation to TV of children’s literary work. Peter Rabbit was also nominated for Preschool Series/Special and received an honorable mention at the awards ceremony.

Peter Rabbit was developed by Silvergate and Penguin Books. Beatrix Potter’s classic character returned to the screen in 2013 in a brand-new CG-animated series for Nickelodeon (Nick Jr) and the BBC (CBeebies), with gorgeous animation provided by Ireland’s Brown Bag Films.
