Four new cast members have been announced for the new SPIDER-MAN, including Peter Parker's parents, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Campbell Scott (TV's ROYAL PAINS) and Julianne Nicholson (LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT) will play Richard and Mary Parker, Peter Parker's parents. Irrfan Khan (SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE) has been cast as Nels Van Adder, a high-tech employee who gets transformed into Proto-Goblin. Annie Parisse (NATIONAL TREASURE) will play Van Adder's wife.

Marc Webb is directing the Columbia Pictures' production. Andrew Garfield (THE SOCIAL NETWORK) stars are Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard.
