Classic Media has landed some top talent to voice character in its CG-remake of HERE COMES PETER COTTENTAIL -- PETER COTTONTAIL: THE MOVIE. SpongeBob voice Tom Kenny will voice Peter Cottontail, Junior and Antoine. Former James Bond Roger Moore will voice the villain Irontail with SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE alum Molly Shannon voicing villainess Jackie Frost. WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT villain Christopher Lloyd will lend his talents to narrator Mr. Sassafras.
Inspired by the beloved 1971 Jules Bass and Arthur Rankin Jr. Easter television special, the new version is being directed by Mark Gravas. Classic Media head of production Evan Baily, Alligator Planet's Ralph Guggenheim and Kapow Pictures' Sandra Walters are producing. Classic Media chairman/ceo Eric Ellenbogen is exec producing.
Classic Media is nearly completion. The studio is in talks to have the film in theaters next spring.
