Ron Perlman tells ComingSoon.net that he will not be appearing Peter Jackson's THE HOBBIT. The HELLBOY star had been attached to the two-part film when Guillermo del Toro was set to direct. But when the project kept getting delayed, Perlman had to move onto other project just as del Toro did. Perlman will next work with del Toro in the PAN'S LABYRINTH director's adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's AT THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS.
