Perfect Hair Forever Debuts Nov. 20 on Adult Swim

PERFECT HAIR FOREVER, a comedic anime series with Adult Swim sensibilities, will premiere on Nov. 20, 2005, at 12:45 am and, beginning Nov. 27, the series will air at 12:30 am Cartoon Network.

An all-news original series, created at Williams St., Adult Swims production facilities, PERFECT HAIR FOREVER chronicles the adventures of a young, bald boy in a mystical land on his quest for perfect hair. Accompanying him are Action Hot Dog, a singing hot dog who can fight, and Inappropriate Comedy Tree, a tree that tells bad jokes and longs for acceptance. It is with these colorful outcasts that Gerald sets off on his mission.

PERFECT HAIR FOREVER exec producer Matt Harrigan is a longtime writer/producer on Space Ghost Coast to Coast. The series also features music from artists like MF Doom, Melt Banana and Diplo.

This new series joins two other Williams St. original productions for Adult Swims fourth quarter programming lineup. SQUIBILLIES, the new series from AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE co-creator Dave Willis and THE BRAK SHOW co-creator Jim Fortier, premiered October 16, at 12:00 am. The series debut of 12 oz. Mouse from AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCES co -creator Matt Maiellaro followed Oct. 16, at 12:30 am.

SQUIBILLIES offers a family of inbred squids heavily into drinking, brawling and reckless gunplay. Occasionally, they use crossbows. Told through the lives of a family of squids left behind when the pre-historic oceans receded from the North Georgia mountains, the 2D creep creatures espouse stereotypical viewpoints and accents on hate, love, sex, a multinational drywall conglomerate, cockfighting, the penal system and a deep-seated mistrust of authority and all things different.

SQUIBILLIES is written and produced by Willis and Fortier. Both served as writers/producers on SPACE GHOST COAST TO COAST.

Also adding to adult male appeal is 12OZ MOUSE, fond of beer and caught in a world of espionage and love, he unknowingly delights in odd jobs. 12OZ MOUSE is produced at Williams St. and was created by Maiellaro. Adult Swim (AdultSwim.com), launched in 2001, is Turner Broadcasting System Inc.s network dedicated to edgy animated comedy and action series, both original and acquired, airing Saturday-Thursday from 11:00 pm-6:00 am (ET,PT).
