Paramount and Hasbro have hired ZOMBIELAND scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese to transform MICRONAUTS into a feature film, reports Deadline.com. Bad Robot’s JJ Abrams and Bryan Burk will produce alongside Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir.

The MICRONAUTS toyline was the American version of MICROMAN from the Japanese toy company Takara. In 1977, the toys received a Marvel comic line, which cast the characters in a space opera on a microscopic scale.
