The Animation Picture Company has bought the script ZOMBIE PET SHOP from writer E.L. Katz, reports Variety. The story follows a pug called Joey who must discover an antidote to the virus that turned all the pets in his pet shop into zombies.

APC head John Davis is producing with Brian Manis, Ash Shah, Dan Chuba and Mark Dippe. Katz and his co-development partner Jeremy Platt are co-producing.

Katz penned the upcoming Lionsgate horror film DIBBUK BOX.
