Zoic Adds EP Cally Morton

Zoic Studios announces the addition of Executive Producer Cally Morton.

Culver City/Vancouver-based visual effects house Zoic Studios bolsters their commercial division with the addition of regarded Executive Producer, Cally Morton.  Morton comes to Zoic from Psyop, and before that, MassMarket, @radical Media and MJZ among others.

Says Zoic’s Executive Creative Director/Co-Founder Chris Jones, “We’re thrilled that Cally has joined as Executive Producer. Her rich production background and thoughtful approach to client relations are a great fit for our culture as we continue our evolution of Zoic’s Commercial Division.”

Adds Morton, “I’m so thrilled to come on board at this time. The Zoic Commercial Division is doing some amazing work and I am lucky to be a part of this incredibly professional and talented team. It’s such a collaborative group and we are having a blast pushing the limits of visual effects and design every single day.”

Morton is an American who grew up in Canada. After graduating from Queens University in Ontario, she worked in the Canadian House of Commons doing communications and then Advance for the Leader of the Opposition in two Leadership races and a Federal Election.  She then returned to the States to work in film and television. Morton served as a creative executive at Warner Bros. before working on titles such as Nancy Drew for Jerry Weintraub, Rush Hour 3 and CSI Miami, to name a few. She transitioned from long-form work to commercial production for MJZ, @radical Media, MassMarket and Psyop on both coasts. Over the years, she has helped bring Super Bowl, branded films and award-winning spots to life for Honda, LG, Absolut, Sprite, BlackBerry and Corona to name a few, and worked with nearly every major agency including Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Wieden+Kennedy, Crispin, Porter + Bogusky, Leo Burnett, Venables, Bell & Partners, Y&R, BBH, Deutsch, RPA and others.
