20th Century Fox has bought Chris Baldi's script SCAVENGERS and attached DIARY OF A WIMPY KID director Thor Freudenthal to helm, reports Deadline.com. Emjag Prods.' Alexandra Milchan and 21 Laps' Shawn Levy and Dan Levine are producing.

The story follows three estranged brothers who must travel the world together on a scavenger hunt set up by their recently deceased father in order to collect their inheritance.
