Vivendi Universal Interactive Adds New VP Of Kids Sales

Vivendi Universal Interactive Publishing North America has named Anita Frazier as the new vice president of kids sales. Frazier will oversee the development of sales strategies for the company's kids software titles for the PC platform. In her new post, Frazier will head retail sales and channel marketing for the kids software category, working closely with Knowledge Adventure, Syracuse Learning and affiliate label partners such as Scholastic Inc. Prior to joining Vivendi Universal, Frazier served in senior level sales and marketing positions in the consumer products and entertainment industries. Most recently, Frazier served as an independent consultant working with start-up clients and established companies to lead marketing and business development initiatives. Previously, she was vice president, domestic sales for Sony Pictures Consumer Products, where she developed strategic licensing campaigns for the studio's television and theatrical productions, including WHEEL OF FORTUNE, JEOPARDY, GODZILLA and CHARLIE'S ANGELS. "The kids PC category is an important part of our overall business, and as the number one children's software publisher in North America, we are looking forward to expanding our leadership position in this area," said Philip W. O'Neil, senior vice president of sales for VUIPNA. "Anita's experience in the consumer products industry has clearly demonstrated her abilities to produce successful sales results, and we are excited that she has joined the Vivendi Universal family."
