Vampire Secret Service Agent Takes Blood Oath on Big Screen

Lucas Foster's Warp Films has acquired the rights to Christopher Farnsworth's BLOOD OATH, reports HEAT VISION. The story follows a Civil-War-era vampire, Nathaniel Cade, who is captured and swears an oath to protect the U.S. president for time immortal. In BLOOD OATH, Cade teams with a new agent to uncover secrets behind a new biological weapon.

As part of the deal, Foster has obtained the rights to the follow-up book BLACK SITE as well. Farnsworth is still writing the sequel and will pen the scripts for the film adaptations. He will exec produce the films as well. Farnsworth's rep Justin Manask will also produce.
