David DiGilio, the creator of the short-lived series TRAVELER, has landed two big deals, writes The Hollywood Reporter. Disney has tapped him to pen the follow-up to TRON: LEGACY. Originally, Adam Horowitz and Adam Kitsis were set to return as the writers, but they are too busy with their TV series ONCE UPON A TIME.

DiGilio has also sold his show LAST H.O.P.E. to Showtime. The title stands for Last Hospital on Planet Earth. While the plot is being kept on the down low, it is being called MAD MAX meets M.A.S.H.

DiGilio was part of Disney's writers program. He penned the studio's EIGHT BELOW.
