Patrick Tatopoulos (UNDERWORLD: RISE OF THE LYCANS) is in talks to helm the eco-horror film, THE COLONY, reports HEAT VISION. The Participant Media production is set to start filming this fall.

Written by Stacy Title and Jonathan Penner, and polished by David Lee Johnson, the story follows the underground survivors of the new ice age and their battle against a deadly threat.

Room 101's Steven Schneider and Vertigo Entertainment’s Doug Davison and Roy Lee are the producers. Gabriel Mason is the exec producer. Participant EVP production Jonathan King is shepherding. Summit will co-fund and handle the rights.
