Supermax Picked Up By Columbia Pictures

SUPERMAX, an action horror film set in a maximum-security prison, has been picked up by Columbia Pictures, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Mitch Rouse and Christopher Nelson co-wrote the script and Todd Garner will produce the project via his Broken Road Productions. In the story, a prison guard is reassigned to Supermax and after a riot erupts, he joins with one of the prison's inmates in order to survive and fight his way out.
