Sorcerer’s Apprentice To Bring Jekyll & Hyde To Small Screen

ABC is developing a TV version of JEKYLL & HYDE with ABC Studios and Mark Gordon Co. producing and THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE scribe Matt Lopez writing, reports Deadline.com.

The word is the modern take on the Robert Lewis Stevenson tale will have a dark romantic vibe and possibly involve cloning as a subject matter. The story will follow the relationship between a female criminal psychologist and secretive scientist.

ABC now has two Jekyll & Hyde projects in development. Sheldon Turner is working on HYDE about an ER doctor who transforms into a new personality when he goes to sleep thanks to an experiential medical procedure.
