Steven Soderbergh has ankled Warner Bros.' adaptation of classic spy TV series MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E., writes The Hollywood Reporter. The project had been in development for a while and seemed to be on its way once Soderbergh and his common collaborator George Clooney got involved. But the casting process had become difficult once Clooney left the project due to his upcoming surgery. There were also rumors that Soderbergh had fought with the studio over the budget, which WB wanted to be set at $60 million. Warners had hoped to start production in March.
