Smurfs Writers Return for Part 2
Sony Pictures has already received a first draft for THE SMURFS 2 from the original film's writers, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Writing teams of David Stem & David Weiss and Jay Scherick & David Ronn devised the idea and then Stem and Weiss penned the script.
Jordan Kerner has already signed on to return as producer. Sony has set Aug. 2, 2013 for the film's release.
