ABC and Sony Pictures TV has tapped former SMALLVILLE showrunners Miles Millar and Alfred Gough for their CHARLIE'S ANGELS reboot, reports VARIETY. The duo will rewrite the pilot script and showrun and exec producer if the pilot is picked up. TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES writer-producer Josh Friedman was the first to take a stab at the script.

Original show's producer Leonard Goldberg is the exec producer with Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen.

The original show followed three female PIs assigned strange cases by their never-seen boss Charlie. The series ran from 1976 to 1981 on ABC.
