Sideshow Post announced that award-winning computer graphics artist Jonathan Herbert has joined the company's Sideshow Motion Design division as creative director. Herbert comes on board after seven years at the helm of Zero Degrees Kelvin, his well-known New York City production boutique that specialized in 3D animation for TV commercials, product and science demos. Herbert has seventeen years experience in directing and managing 3D and special effects projects. His credits range from whimsical character animation for Arm & Hammer Baking Soda's “Boxman” to photo-realistic renderings of American Home Products' “Centrum” vitamin bottle for a spot that aired during Super Bowl XXIX, to organic distortions of a bursting Vitamin E capsule for Reader's Digest. Herbert commented: “Sideshow's strong core of talent and technology offers unlimited vistas for my creative vision. We have extraordinary capabilities in type design and animation, special effects and CGI. And we're not limited to video. I am especially excited that the resolution-independent inferno* allows us to take on both HD and film projects." Sideshow is a post-production house based in New York City.
