Rodriquez Wields Fire and Ice

Ain't It Cool News reports that Robert Rodriguez has picked up the rights to Ralph Bakshi's 1983 animated feature FIRE AND ICE. The original film was a collaboration between Bakshi and the famed fantasy illustrator Frank Frazetta. Written by Gerry Conway and Roy Thomas, the film follows a young warrior named Larn amd his mysterious ally Darkwolf who battle the ice lord Nekron to save the kidnapped virgin princess Teegra. Rodriguez will direct via his Troublemaker Studios.
