Robert Rodriguez To Adapt Fire and Ice

Robert Rodriguez revealed to an excited Comic Con crowd that he his developing a live-action version of FIRE AND ICE, based on the art of Frank Frazetta, reports ComingSoon.net. The 1983 animated feature, directed by Ralph Bakshi, follows Larn, a young warrior, whose village is wiped out by the glacial palace of the Ice Lord Nekron. Now Larn sets out to stop the ruthless conqueror from destroying the land of Fire Keep and its good King Jarol. Rodriguez is working closely with the Frazetta estate on the project, as well as a Frazetta museum to be opened in Austin, Texas.
