Alan Keith, chief administrative officer and vice president of Lucas Digital, announced that Robert Rieders has been named general counsel of Lucas Digital Ltd. LLC. Rieders will also serve as corporate secretary to the Lucas Digital board of directors "We are very pleased that Rob Rieders is joining our organization," said Keith. "Lucas Digital is looking at a future that encompasses continued growth, with projects of scope and size unlike anything in our first twenty-five years. Rob's background in production will be a major asset as we move forward into digital features production and our other new business ventures." Formerly, Rieders was with Twentieth Century Fox Television, where he began as an attorney in 1996 and later became a business affairs executive. Prior to joining Fox, Rieders was an attorney with the entertainment law firm of Stein & Kahan (now Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan) and the international law firm of Rogers & Wells (now Clifford Chance Rogers & Wells). "I couldn't pass up the opportunity to work on the cutting-edge film and digital animation projects at Industrial Light & Magic," said Rieders.
