Reynolds To Voice DreamWorks' Turbo
Ryan Reynolds is about to sign on to provide the lead voice in DreamWorks Animation's TURBO, reports Variety. The story follows a garden snail that gets turbo speed, which fulfills his dream of becoming the world's fastest snail.
David Soren (MERRY MADAGASCAR) is set to direct. He co-wrote the script with Darren Lemke (SHREK FOREVER AFTER). Lisa Stewart (MONSTERS VS. ALIENS) is the producer.
DreamWorks has set June 7, 2013 for the film's release.
This would bring Reynolds into his second DreamWorks Animation film in 2013. He already signed onto THE CROODS, which hits theaters on March 1.
