Reese Witherspoon will join editor Kevin Tent, A.C.E. to present Alexander Payne with the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year honor at the 62nd Annual ACE Eddie Awards on February 18, 2012. The black-tie event will take place in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel. 

Witherspoon and Tent will be joined by industry luminaries such as Clint Eastwood, who will be presenting to Career Achievement honoree Joel Cox, A.C.E. and Dick Wolf who will present to Career Achievement Honoree Doug Ibold, A.C.E. Additional presenters include Robert Forster, famed editor Anne Coates, A.C.E., Rumer Willis (90210), Dominic Purcell (Prison Break, Castle), Robert Morse (Mad Men), Erika Christensen (Parenthood), Matthew Lillard (The Descendants), Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead), Missi Pyle (The Artist), Penelope Ann Miller (The Artist), Donald Faison (The Exes) and Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights). As previously announced, Patton Oswalt will serve as the evening’s MC. AMERICAN CINEMA EDITORS (ACE) is an honorary society of motion picture editors founded in 1950. Film editors are voted into membership on the basis of their professional achievements, their dedication to the education of others and their commitment to the craft of editing.
