THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER says that Sam Raimi will produce Yeti-themed horror flick REFUGE. New director Corin Hardy pitched the idea to Mandate where Raimi's Ghost House Pictures is set up.

The story follows a far-off town that is plagued by a Yeti. Hardy will direct and Tom DeVille will pen the script.

Jason Blum, Nathan Kahane and Steven Schneider are also producers.
