Porchlight Ent. Ups Jeffrey Engelen to VP, Worldwide Sales

Accelerating its worldwide sales activities under the leadership of Ken DuBow, PorchLight Ent.'s President of Worldwide Distribution, it was announced today that Jeffrey Engelen had been promoted to Vice President, Worldwide Sales. Reporting to DuBow, Engelen's sales responsibilities have expanded to include key territories throughout Europe, Russia, Africa and the Middle East, where he will concentrate on broadcast sales of PorchLight's expansive library of programming. Kicking off his sales efforts under his new title, Engelen will target key broadcasters and distributors throughout Germany.

According to DuBow, "Engelen has proven himself a marketable asset to the company. His skills and knowledge of the marketplace lets him consistently target the right PorchLight properties with the right broadcasters. He well deserves this promotion." He added, "We have a strong, exceptional sales team and we anticipate a great market at MIPCOM and exceptional year for the company."

Engelen joined PorchLight in 2004 as Director of International Licensing, developing and managing the international licensing agent's network to sell and market the company's merchandising, video, wireless and promotional rights. Later he took the added responsibilities of selling and licensing PorchLight programming in various broadcast and video formats.

Engelen holds a Masters Degree in Business Culture, Organization and Management from VU Amsterdam as well as a BA in International Business, English and French from the Higher Institute of Economy and Management in Utrecht, Holland. He is fluent in several languages including English, Dutch, German and French.
