pasi hires FRANK SAPERSTEIN and MIMBI ELORIAGA
FRANK SAPERSTEIN has been appointed Creative Director of Philippines-based
pasi (PHILIPPINE ANIMATION STUDIO, INC.). His responsibilities will include
quality control, co-productions and marketing, and technical development of
the studio. He is based out of Los Angeles, California. Saperstein comes
directly from Matinee Entertainment where he served as
Producer/Director/Writer of KAMPUNG BOY, a co-production with pasi, which
won a Special Prize for Best TV Program at Annecy '99. In addition, MIMBI
ELORIAGA has been appointed as Studio Operations Manager for pasi. She will
oversee the full range of functions of all production departments and
conceptualize, plan, direct and monitor the implementation of work
activities in the studio. Eloriaga comes from MagiNet, the largest provider
of video-on-demand and internet services to the international hospitality
industry, where she was Manager for Business Development and Video
Programming. Prior to that, she was pasi's production manager from 1990 -
1997.
